On FAFSA Day, financial aid officers and other trained professionals will help students and their families with the completion and submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. The FAFSA is required to be considered for most state, federal and other college funding opportunities. This free service is sponsored by College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC), the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NCASFAA) and the State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU).
FAFSA Day will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 and will be offered in every North Carolina county again this year. Most locations will be open from 9 am until noon.
