Disney Dreamers Academy is a 4-day, power-packed event in which 100 select high school students, ages 13 to 19, are inspired, motivated and prepared to dream big.

Disney Dreamers experience: 
  • Inspirational guest speakers with immersive presentations 
  • Career activities ranging from animation, journalism and entrepreneurship to culinary arts and zoology 
  • Networking and interviewing opportunities 

Disney is currently seeking students with a winning combination of attributes. We’re looking for potential Dreamers who reflect strong character, positive attitude and persistence to take advantage of opportunities.

Project Uplift at UNC Chapel Hill

Project Uplift and Uplift PLUS   These enrichment programs enable high-achieving, current high school juniors to experience college life on the Carolina campus. We need your assistance in identifying outstanding students to participate in these unique experiences.  PROJECT UPLIFT seeks to engage current high school juniors in an immersive two-day experience that connects them with UNC-Chapel Hill and other four-year colleges and universities. Participants live on campus; interact with faculty, staff and current students; engage in educational, cultural and social activities and learn about admissions and college affordability. UPLIFT PLUS is a five-week residential program for Project Uplift participants. During the program, participants live on campus, attend SAT/ACT coaching sessions and take English 100 (3 credits). Scholarship Value:  $5,000 Awards Available:  1 Award Deadline:  March 15, 2019 The John Wright Memorial Scholarship Program funds one student scholarship per year. This scholarship was established at TREE Fund by Wright Tree Service in honor and memory of its founder, John L. Wright, and his son, John R. Wright.
