Free Scholarship Fair

The Infinite Scholars Program will host a scholarship fair at the Emily K Center (904 W. Chapel Hill St.) on October 5, 2017 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. High school juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend for on-site admissions and scholarship offers. Students need to bring: multiple copies of transcripts, ACT/SAT test scores, letters of recommendation, an essay titled “Why I want to go to college.”, and a resume. THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS Students can register for this event on-line at www.infinitescholar.org

Project Uplift at UNC Chapel Hill

Project Uplift and Uplift PLUS   These enrichment programs enable high-achieving, current high school juniors to experience college life on the Carolina campus. We need your assistance in identifying outstanding students to participate in these unique experiences.  PROJECT UPLIFT seeks to engage current high school juniors in an immersive two-day experience that connects them with UNC-Chapel Hill and other four-year colleges and universities. Participants live on campus; interact with faculty, staff and current students; engage in educational, cultural and social activities and learn about admissions and college affordability. UPLIFT PLUS is a five-week residential program for Project Uplift participants. During the program, participants live on campus, attend SAT/ACT coaching sessions and take English 100 (3 credits). Scholarship Value:  $5,000 Awards Available:  1 Award Deadline:  March 15, 2019 The John Wright Memorial Scholarship Program funds one student scholarship per year. This scholarship was established at TREE Fund by Wright Tree Service in honor and memory of its founder, John L. Wright, and his son, John R. Wright.
