Durham Tech Fall Fest & College Fair

Along with food, games, and music, Fall Fest will feature four-year university admissions counselors ready to answer your transfer questions.

Representatives will be from:
  • Campbell University
  • UNC Wilmington
  • North Carolina State
  • Meredith College
  • UNC Charlotte
  • North Carolina Central
  • Fayetteville State
  • Elon
Fall Fest will be Wed., Oct. 24, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., on the Main Campus Plaza.

If you can’t attend or have more questions, the Transfer College Fair will be Wed., Oct. 31, from noon to 1:45 p.m. in the Collins Building (Building 2) foyer. There will be a total of 30 colleges represented, including the ones from Fall Fest, UNC Chapel Hill and UNC’s School of Nursing, UNC Asheville, UNC Greensboro, NC A&T, Appalachian State, ECU, and Western Carolina.

The Triangle Luncheon Civitan Club of Durham Scholarship

The Triangle Luncheon Civitan Club of Durham will award two $1,000 scholarships during the 2018-2019 school year.  These scholarships will be awarded to two seniors graduating in Spring 2019 from one of the Durham Public high schools who will further their education at a four year college (or a community college), beginning in Fall 2019. The students must reside in Durham County.  The financial award will be made directly to the Financial Aid Office at the selected student’s post-secondary school. Students selected as winners will be invited, with a parent, to attend a lunch meeting with Triangle Luncheon Civitan Club members during the summer of 2018. At that time the winner will receive a certificate of their award, and will be asked to speak briefly about themselves and their plans.
