Latino Community Credit Union Scholarship Fund

Latino Community Credit Union’s scholarship program was created to assist any member of Latino Community Credit Union who seeks to advance their education, either through a technical community college or university for the school year and has been accepted or re-enrolled.  The scholarship submission deadline is coming to an end on May 23 rd , 2018 .  If someone is interested in applying for the scholarship but is not a member of LCCU, they can simply open a savings account with a minimum deposit of $10  that will cover their lifetime membership and maintaining a balance of $10 in order to avoid the monthly fee of $2. If they have an immediate family member who is already a member, they are eligible to apply, but regardless they will have to open their own account. AsULead Summer Program at App State

AsULead at Appalachian State University is a four-day residential experience that equips select rising seniors from historically underrepresented backgrounds to: be competitive for selective colleges and scholarship programs understand how career objectives relate to college majors become better leaders through training in leadership and cultural awareness return to their communities as ambassadors for college success If selected, students will receive a scholarship that covers meals, lodging, transportation from central pick-up locations, and all necessary supplies for the AsULead program.
