Making Positive Changes—2019 Scholarship Essay Contest

Younce, Vtipil & Baznik, P.A. are proud to announce a scholarship competition for North Carolina high school and college students. These scholarships will be awarded to assist North Carolina students with tuition costs for attending a two or four year college in 2019.  The winners will receive a total of $1,500 in scholarships. Applications are open now, and are due by April 1, 2019 (which will approach quickly). UNC Chapel Hill High School Volunteer Program

Each summer the High School Volunteer Program runs for a period of eight weeks. We offer volunteer positions for high school students in Chapel Hill and  UNC Health Care Hillsborough Campus  sites. Student volunteers will be impacted through meaningful experiences and gain valuable job skills right here in our community. Chapel Hill offers exposure to a large academic hospital environment; the Hillsborough Campus maintains a community feel while having the same quality of providers and care. Durham Volkswagen Scholars Program

The 2019 Matthew C. Graziadei Achievement Scholarship Award

For the 20th year, the  Exceptional Children’s Assistance Center  (ECAC) is pleased to announce the opening for nominations, for the  Matthew C. Graziadei Achievement Scholarship , to an Outstanding North Carolina High School Senior with a Disability. This award includes a $1,500 scholarship to be used for any post high school learning experience/ training or for equipment/technology needed for employment. African American Network Carolinas Scholarship

The African American Network is a Duke Energy employee resource group of African American employees. As part of its mission, the African American Network Carolinas chapter provides scholarships to college-bound students from North and South Carolina who are pursuing a major in engineering, math, science, computer science, accounting, finance or business administration. Calvin Coolidge Scholars-Full Scholarship available to JUNIORS

The Coolidge Scholarship is an annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study. The Coolidge may be used by recipients at any accredited American college or university. Anyone of any background, pursuing any academic discipline of study, may apply to this non-partisan, need-blind, program. Students apply for the Coolidge Scholarship during their junior year of high school. Finalists are flown in for a finalist weekend at the Coolidge Historic Site in Plymouth Notch, Vermont where they interview with the Coolidge Scholars Finalist Jury. Recipients of the Coolidge Scholarship are notified of their award late in their junior year, before college application (note: current high school seniors are  not eligible  to apply). Finalists who are not named Coolidge Scholars are eligible to receive a smaller, one-time, college scholarship.
