For the 20th year, the Exceptional Children’s Assistance Center (ECAC) is pleased to announce the opening for nominations, for the Matthew C. Graziadei Achievement Scholarship, to an Outstanding North Carolina High School Senior with a Disability.
This award includes a $1,500 scholarship to be used for any post high school learning experience/ training or for equipment/technology needed for employment.

Project Uplift at UNC Chapel Hill

Project Uplift and Uplift PLUS   These enrichment programs enable high-achieving, current high school juniors to experience college life on the Carolina campus. We need your assistance in identifying outstanding students to participate in these unique experiences.  PROJECT UPLIFT seeks to engage current high school juniors in an immersive two-day experience that connects them with UNC-Chapel Hill and other four-year colleges and universities. Participants live on campus; interact with faculty, staff and current students; engage in educational, cultural and social activities and learn about admissions and college affordability. $1,000 Scholarship For Those Affected By Auto Accidents

The Dirk Derrick Car & Truck Accident Injury Scholarship is an award for any  current or soon-to-be undergraduate   student in the United States  who has had his or her life altered due to an injury from a car or truck accident, be it their own injury, that of a loved one, or an influential individual. The Dirk Derrick Scholarship has a brief submission process, and applicants will be judged  on their ability to convey the lasting effect an auto accident has had on their life as well as their journey to overcome those challenges.  Applicants may apply via the Google Form below. Students applying must submit an essay where you explain, present, inspire, or otherwise convince us as to why you deserve to win this scholarship.
