Davidson Summer Experience
Greetings from Davidson!
July Experience is entering its 43rd summer on Davidson's campus and has evolved over the years, most recently with a transition into the Office of Admission and Financial Aid, and the addition of new leadership. The goals of the program remain the same: to provide rising high school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to experience life on a liberal arts campus, to explore new academic topics, and to get individualized feedback and mentoring from Davidson professors. We have some fun, too!
Last year the program hosted 81 students from 22 states and 5 countries. Davidson faculty taught 12 courses, 11 Davidson students served as hall counselors and mentors, and several hundred slices of pizza were consumed.
Below we have provided fast facts about the 2018 session, as well as a blurb that you can share with your students via email, newsletter, etc. More details, course descriptions, a daily schedule example, and FAQ's are on our webpage. We also have a limited number of printed flyers available, if you would like some for your office please let us know.
