Call for Nominations: The Park Scholarship-Full Ride to North Carolina State University

Outstanding seniors are encouraged to apply for nomination for the Park Scholarship. Middle College will nominate two students who will go on to be considered for this award. Nominees should be competitive applicants to North Carolina State University. Please review NCSU average admissions data to ensure your application is competitive.
The Park Scholarship provides:
  • Four-year scholarship valued at up to $109,500 in-state and up to $200,000 out-of-state, including tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, travel, and personal expenses
  • Grants to fund professional and personal enrichment experiences, such as research projects, service activities, and conferences in the United States and abroad
  • Early course registration
  • Guaranteed invitation to join the University Scholars Program for all Park Scholarships Finalist
Interested students should submit the following to Mrs. Brown at tiffany.brown@dpsnc.net by no later than Monday, September 17, 2018 to be considered for nomination:
  • A resume and/or brag sheet
  • A 1 page statement stating why you are interested in Park and your intended field of study at NCSU
Make sure to title your email "Park Scholarship Nomination Application". Selected nominees will be notified of the Scholarship Committee's selection by September 21, 2018.

John Wright Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Value:  $5,000 Awards Available:  1 Award Deadline:  March 15, 2019 The John Wright Memorial Scholarship Program funds one student scholarship per year. This scholarship was established at TREE Fund by Wright Tree Service in honor and memory of its founder, John L. Wright, and his son, John R. Wright. The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.
