Teen Connections Peer Education Program at Planned Parenthood
This is a really great opportunity for you to apply to Planned Parenthood’s Teen Connections program, which is starting in Durham in October. It’s a peer education and leadership program, where local teens learn about sexual health, relationships, consent, and other topics, and then learn how to share that information with their peers. Food is provided AND participants can earn a $300 stipend upon completion of the program. It would also look great on college applications!
Teen Connections gives teens the tools they need to teach their peers about sexual health, healthy relationships, consent, preventing teen pregnancy, and HIV/STI risk reduction. Must be 14-18 years old and attend high school in either Chapel Hill or Durham
For more information, contact Daniela Sostaita 919-869-4786 daniela.sostaita@ppsat.org
The application deadline is October 6th!
