High School Portfolio Review Day
The Nasher invites area high school students in grades 11 and 12, who are interested in pursuing an education in the visual arts, to attend our second annual portfolio day. Representatives from area universities and museums as well as local visual artists will be on hand to review your artwork, provide feedback and advice, and answer questions in a supportive environment. This is a non-competitive and fun way to get feedback on your artwork in preparation for applying to college.
Your portfolio should include 5-10 pieces of your best and most recent work, but can also include works in progress, sketchbooks and tear sheets. Come prepared to discuss your creative influences and process.
This program is free and open to area high school students in grades 11 and 12. Limited slots are available and students must complete this application in advance to participate. Priority will be given to students in their senior year.
The deadline to submit this application is September 25, 2018.
